some years ago we installed the dude. It was a very beta version and
it had the side effect to clear the settings into the router.
I was wondering if the never version of the dude is stable and if you
are using it.

The beta3 crashes when you do a backup. As long as you're quick you can
save it just in time. Otherwise! Works great.

The dude is great, it's free currently and easy to set up, it'll deal with any
snmp enabled device perfectly, I haven't used it with tranzeo, but ubiquiti and
canopy gear works perfect. You get a nice signal level display and wireless
rate as well as traffic.
