One thing that no one mentioned about MikroTik is that call centers find the troubleshooting tools useful on MT. I gave em a super user login for the supervisors to do manual bypass/passthrus and a read user so they could ping and such. Anything to keep the call time down. On 6/20/09, Scott Reed

Broken record sound here. Mikrotik. Hotspot will allow free with guest/guest login (or whatever you want) and then you can create what ever other rates you want via personal login. If you use UserManager, can do at least Authorize.net or PayPal. Jeremie Chism wrote: > We received an exclusive co

We received an exclusive contract to provide wireless Internet to a regional airport. We had to agree to provide one level of free Internet and one optional higher speed. We are looking for recommendations on equipment. Possibly something that could do advertisements to generate extra reven

That is exactly the question The real problems will come when they reach critical mass and start originating more calls than AT&T and Verizon combined. At $20 a year and mass advertising they should reach that point very soon. Rick Kunze wrote: > What you all might want to try to figure out, is

What you all might want to try to figure out, is exactly how they're injecting the calls into the IXC network without reciprocal comp being paid. That's the smoking gun me thinks. Rk WISPA Wants You! Join today! h

No transmission line will work that is larher than 5/8 " in diameter. Don't waste your time pulling 1 1/4". It won't work Want the same results as 1 1/4" heliax? Disconnect the cable from the radio. There ya go. 1 1/a" results without the work or expense! :-) -B- Sent from my Verizon Wirele

Thats what I was afraid of. I went back and did my own math and I didn't see how 5.8 would traverse the 7/8 correctly. Yet I would still think the spectrum analysis would pick something up, even if it was trash. Therefore I was questioning the ODU. So basicaly, 5.8 must have a solid core. I

The cut off frequency for 7/8 heliax is so low that the 5.8ghz wave can not operate on the large of a cable. You should have got 5/8 Heliax as it is the largest coax you can use and still pass 5.8ghz. Here is the spec sheet for the 5/8 http://www.midland.ru/products/andrew/pdf/LDF45.pdf Kurt F
