GFCI's are to detect and prevent leakage currents.
They monitor the current in the hot and the neutral lines.

company. They have an army of attorneys that will tie any suit up until LS
runs out of money.
I find it unlikely that any argument by LS that

will make millions on the lawsuit before ending up bankrupting Lightsquared.

A real problem is that they wear out
something that isnt well known. Old
GFCIs may pop prematurely or fail to pop. TEST THEM YEARLY!
