Why not just use Mikrotik User Manager and you don't have to pay
commission to a third party? We've been running it on a routerboard for
years without issue. We have virtual Aps on all our residential
repeaters running a hotspot pointed to one. It's simple and works
great.

The front end can run on any little cheap MT router or AP. If your using other
brands of Aps just plug them into a $39 750 for the front end.
