Anyone know how to get Google Earth to show the placemark icon without a
label?
I want to see our customer distribution, but the labels really clutter
the map.

Some of the dots don't put words above it. Some do. I don't think that's
configurable. The balloon always has words above it IIRC. I use the red
dot for what you're asking.

Scott,
Well, if you are generating this via a custom written application you can
use some KML similar to this:
Placemark
name/name
visibility1/visibility
description /description
styleURL /styleURL
Point
coordinates--95.410800, 29.684726,0/coordinates
/Point
/Placemark
Thank you,
Jon
Does anybody know how to eliminate the 'degree' symbol at the end of the
coordinates? For example 35.176390° . I copy paste the lat/longs
into excel and then they get imported into Arhcer, which doesn't accept the
value if that degree symbol is there.

Working toward that now, but currently have hundreds that I would like
to see with the label.

This is the one that works the best so far. Just wish I didn't have to
touch every one.

Put them all in a folder and on the properties you can share style and make
the change globally.
