I have a customer that wants to IM with her husband stationed in Iraq. Working with her computer guy we have found that he and I can do video via MSMessenger but not AIM. Of couse, MS is not on the computer in Iraq. Anyone know of issues using AIM? Differences between the two products. I tried to figure this same problem out for two months. She could IM and video her daughter in Chicago. She could IM, but not video her daughter in Germany. Her daughter in Germany could IM and video her daughter in Chicago. Seemed to be a combination of firewalls, NAT, and software version conflicts, at least for my customer.
