That is when running a mixed 11A/11N or 11B/GN modes only. When
running only 11N mode, it does not have to. I know UBNT does not let
us change the mixed mode on the M gear
so it is what ever they designed support for.

I highly doubt itit is more of a MT question what u may be able to do
if install the UbNt in 20mhz mode with no airmax until you have changed the
