I have the unit on my desk. Version 5.5.6 Where do I find Remote Management, all I find is block Management access. It is NOT checked to enable. Can you SSH it from the AirControl server? That's what it uses to enable the monitoring. Once enabled, I believe all it does is an HTTP and/or HTTPS request to AirControl. No it works fine in wan and lan. I cannot get it to connect in AirControl I just get the black dot, not green or red. Also check MAC in AC to see if there was a previous unit on that IP, in which case the new one will not be added because of the dup ip, and the old one will always be off! It now works! I deleted it from AirControl. Defaulted Airouter Rebooted Airouter and computer. Installed Backup Configuration File It then worked. What version OS are you running. Did you upgrade recently? There was an issue of remote management being turned on after an upgrade to a particular version. (will have to look up which one it was... but 5.5.4 through .6 does not do this now. If it is turned on (remote management) to keep from doing a field trip, you can ask customer to plug the wan cable into the lan port if you are bridged backed to your office... where you have a latop with 192.168.1.x in its NIC. then you can get to 192.168.1.1 to quickly turn on the management port. then quickly have customer put CAT5 back into WAN port. Be sure to tell customer never to do that on there own of course, since it can put a rouge DHCP on your network. [WISPA] Air Control Problem
I have 1 AirRouter that I can't get into the Manage Node, I seem to be doing the wrong thing. I do not have the same problem with other AirRouter, Bullets, Nanobridge, or other devices. Help. Try to use putty to ssh into router... if you cannot, then I would say Remote Management is checked. What version OS are you running. Did you upgrade recently?
