There is a lot that Mikrotik can do, but there is no comparison to a 
dedicated box like Procera.  Swiss army knife can cut down a tree, but 
an axe is a better choice.

good view of your users and usage patterns.

yep, normally we just look at large connections and limit overall bandwidth, 
the best way is still to bill per bit once over..  All of that would require 
intergration into a billing system, or a billing system that does it already :)

The best/simplest way to do so is by simply charging for overages on a
data plan, i.e. give them xxx GB incluced, overages are xxx.  VISP,
powercode are just a few billing platforms that would do this.
