I'd check with the cable manufacturer on that question. Plenum cable is
designed to NOT give off toxic gases into a breathing-air plenum in case
of a fire. I'm not sure this means that the cable will continue to
survive and perform when intentionally exposed to high temperatures. You

Will plenum rated cable stand up to the heat/moisture of a dryer vent
pipe? Im trying to get a run of cable top to bottom on an 8 story
building and the easiest access is through a common dryer vent that
feeds laundry facilities on all 8 floors.
