Cloudpath software is not a captive portal. It is an application that configures your 802.1X wireless & wired network settings and can perform other checks (AV etc.) if desired. Although, you can use Cloudpath in a captive portal, it can also be distributed by thumb drive, CD, etc. Bruce Osb
