Just getting feet wet with application analysis that comes with WLC 7.4 and
Prime Infrastructure 1.3. I have proper PAM licenses on PI.
Am seeing that the applications are nicely classified as expected on the
Controller GUI, but when viewed through PI (verified to be set up right as per

Hi Gertjan,
I'm thinking my issue is different. I have the PAM licenses applied, I have the
right tabs in PI, and actually see application data. It's just that for me, all
apps are called undefined in PI.

Hi Lee,
Can you tell me exactly what I need (id license PAM) in PI 1.3
Example : R-PAM-1.3-BSxx or/and L-PI12-AS-15 ???
Is an assurance license not enough?

Whoopsie- hit return too fast. I would make sure your SE is in the loop, and
knows what you already have. But the L-PI12-AS-15 is what we got- which so far
is not working real well (back to my original question).

We have recently been experiencing some intermittent authentication issues with iPhones as well.I do not have any answers at this time, but I'll post what we find.Keith NoahUniversity Information Technology ServicesUniversity of Wisconsin-MilwaukeeNetwork Operations
We ran into the issue with our Cisco deployment. TAC had us enable the Fast SSID change setting and the phones connect every time after that.

Our issues are with Juniper 532 Access Points. This might be completely unrelated to the Fast SSID setting, but I'll check is something comparable exists for Juniper.Keith NoahUniversity Information Technology ServicesUniversity of Wisconsin-MilwaukeeNetwork Operations
Thomas, Keith:
I am interested in the details, I have 532's. (and a lot of 432) I have
not had reports as yet. What version of MSS are you running, what EAP, and
radius ?
We are running mostly 7.6.2 MsChapV2 and Radiator. InCommon-Comodo certs.
anything that I can look for in my logs ?
Thomas,
We are running juniper wlc2800's running 7.6.2.3 and we have PEAP and
MSCPAV2 with Microsoft Radius for Authentication. We Have 532's, 522' and 82's
for Ap's and I have seen any issues with iphone 5's not being able to
authenticate to wireless. I have come across some iphones that
We had an issue with OS 10.x machines dropping off our wifi. Ended up being an
IPv6/bonjour issue. We had to disable it on the client end.

We have a mix of different APs - 422s, 522s, 82s, and 532s. We're running MSS
8.0.1 (which has issues with the 82s, but that's another issue). I haven't
opened a case with Juniper yet, as I'm still gathering the information about
the problem.
We're using PacketFence (which wraps FreeRADUS).
Hi,
We experienced this with devices updated to iOS 6.1 - and observed on the iPad
3rd gen, iPhone 4, 4S and 5.
The symptom was that the phone would not automatically reconnect however would
manually connect when the network is selected.
The resolution was to reset network settings on the
I second disabling IPv6 on clients if your network is not using it- quieted
down the majority of our client issues in big Cisco WLAN.

Same here. We actually threw an ACL in place to filter all IPv6 traffic when
Win 7 came out, and several people managed to set up ICS and start advertising
RAs out their wireless interface.
Also, on the original iPhone topic, the iPhone Configuration Utility (iPCU) is
