We use used m0n0wall for a large marina hotspot installed on a WRAP
board. It worked ok, but its bridging capabilities are limited. We
were using two wireless cards for the hotspot and one of the Ethernet
for basically a linksys in a common room and wanted to put them all
behind the captive porta
We use M0n0wall on many segments of our network. Works out quite nice. We
have m0n0 boxes running on P2's, some wrap boards, and some beefier
machines. Take a look at pfsense as well. It is almost an offshoot of
m0n0wall, but has some different features (multiple wan load balancing for
one).
