BPL works... But sure it doesn;t work to its expectations. Sure you have to repeat it, bypassing transformers and such, maybe as you say every 1000feet or what ever. Part of the Cirrent technology's solution was to make the devices to easily jump over (bypass) the transformers and such. However

There are several small nuke plants in AK at this time powering listening stations for the military. I had a room mate that serviced these devices and a family member that flew crews out 2x a year to test for leaks and perform service. I guess they ran like a top and never had an issue. ryan
