Re: [WISPA] Accounting Software to Replace PC Based Quickbooks

2017-09-26 Thread troy
We use QB desktop 2016 version for everything except processing credit
cards. Learned quick I did not want Intuit to control my credit card
deposits. We work with an online bank, Propay.com for our credit card
needs. They note they work with internet providers and have been very
good.

We use QB for monthly invoicing and work with local accountant to manage
reconciliations of expenses and payroll to be sure all is correctly
entered. I have heard Freshbooks is good, but the pain to change is more
than I want to mess with and QB desktop is paid for and does not add a
monthly expense I have to carry with the online version.

QBO here along with their payroll.

I don't use QBO for my recurring billing though. I use chargify.com for that.

Tom,

OI have clients that have used them all and they seem to gravitate back to
QBB. I can tell you one client tried ZOHO and was very disappointed for
what it's worth.

[WISPA] Accounting Software to Replace PC Based Quickbooks

2017-09-26 Thread Tom Fadgen

Every 3 years I replace my Quickbooks software with the new version
since they will no longer support some features with the old versions.
This year I lost my part time bookkeeper that would come in once a
week and all the new part-timers want to work remote which makes an
online service the best choice. I use ADP for payroll and integrated
time keeping and I use Powercode for receivables. I am looking at the
following:

Quickbooks Online
Freshbooks
Zoho

I am sure I am not the only one that has made or is looking into this.
What is everyone else using. I believe that Quickbooks is the dominant
player here and but I am not quite sure they are the best for me
needs.

What is everyone else using?
