Re: [WISPA] buzzard attenuation?
Just drop a nice AMP on there, couple hundred watts should do. That way when he lands, you have lunch! -- * Dennis Burgess, CCNA, A+, Mikrotik Certified Trainer * chris cooper wrote: > We noticed some fairly significant packet loss on CPE associated with > one particular 900 Mhz cell this morning. Re: [WISPA] buzzard attenuation?
I have this stuff on one of my sites: http://www.nixalite.com/PlasticSpike.aspx Obviously want to use the plastic version rather than the metal ones. Who knows what the 1/4 wave frequency of the spikes are, but definitely don't need to take the chance. [WISPA] buzzard attenuation?
We noticed some fairly significant packet loss on CPE associated with one particular 900 Mhz cell this morning. We went to several client locations to trouble shoot. Everything, except the packet loss, looked good. When we went out to the cell site we found a few very large buzzards parked on our antenna. Im not sure how to calculate the attenuation of a buzzard, but when we were able to persuade them to leave all the packet loss cleared up. This is definitely a first for us. Do anti-roost strips deter them? Chris Cooper Intelliwave LLC WISPA Wants You!
