Re: [WISPA] OT: eBay opinions? Best eBay store for used wireless?
I've built out my WISP using eBay! I've bought some things new but cant pass up the deals. Only had one problem and the seller took care of it. -RickG On 1/22/07, Patrick Leary <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hi folks, This post is more for personal interest than professional. RE: [WISPA] OT: eBay opinions? Best eBay store for used wireless?
I haven't ran across any horror stories; however, I have found it important to ask for pictures, serial numbers, condition, etc... When buying off ebay, some of the things we take for granted (like power supplies and mounting brackets) are often missing or not included. I'm sure that must of us have equipment lying around that we either couldn't use or have outgrown. Want to sells aren't allowed on this list but are we allowed to post the occasional want to buy reply off list? I would much rather purchase used equipment from another WISP with real-time experience than some random Joe off ebay. Just a thought... - Don -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Patrick Leary Sent: Monday, January 22, 2007 2:28 PM To: WISPA General List Subject: [WISPA] OT: eBay opinions?
