We had snow build up on our first AF24 link once. The unit it built-up on was
facing directly into the wind. The snow was very wet and probably more sleet
than snow at times.
I was in another town at the time. I had a weather stripped bed cover on my
truck with Christmas packages inside.

Naw I have yet to have my 1.5 mile airFiber go down or even

We have found bay fog to be far better at disruption than any rains we have
here. Even tidal shifts on open water shots don't mess with our links as much
as bay fog does.

My AirFiber 24’s are 3 5 miles here in the northern plains with no issue

When it rains here, it can really freaking rain. we get some pretty big
storms. I just don't want to give people false hope. Make sure you have a
back up if it must be up all the time.
we had one outage last 45 minutes due to rain along the path. others were
7-15 minutes. frustrating.

rain storms they are thunderstroms.

Here in Alaska we hardly ever have an AF24 go down, and we are right on the
coast.
It's going to depend on the type of weather you commonly have and the distance
of the link.
