We use Wind and Solar power to provide juice for 2 Routerboards and 1
orthogon link.. Also have a huge bank of batteries.

The best is a mix of solar and wind.

I know of some that use propane too.

Currently powering four Trango radios @ 24v with about 3A draw total. 
The problem is the draw is 24 hours per day, so it adds up.


The other problem is the location is at 9,000ft elevation and currently 
has over 10feet of snow. :(
