Well, it worked for me in 0.99.2 and 0.99.4 and it works for you in
0.99.4. I didn't see any changes in this area (in source control)
between those two releases, so...

If by "the source files I downloaded" you're referring to the source
"tarballs" you can get from wireshark.org, they're meant for Win
