[WSG] RE: Accessible date picker widget
Hi, This is the one I've used with good success: http://www.frequency-decoder.com/2006/10/02/unobtrusive-date-picker-widgit-update. It has a lot of options set from the CSS classes of an input type=text element. It should be lightweight (or compressible), not depend on frameworks and allow for keyboard use / screenreaders. The ones I've found so far couldn't take all hurdles. Thank you! RE: [WSG] RE: Accessible date picker widget
Hi Jens, You could take a look at these two: http://websemantics.co.uk/tutorials/accessible_date_picker_calendar/ http://stage.websemantics.co.uk/resources/accessible_jquery_date_picker_ calendar/ Neither project was 100% completed but both work and are very accessible. The second is actually the better of the two using buttons for next / last month. Re: [WSG] RE: Accessible date picker widget
Try this, from work done by Giorgos Tsiledakis: http://www.micronetwork.de/activecalendar/ I found this to be excellent. It uses PHP to define the OOP class 'calendar', and from there you can change lots of features - display month, year etc. You can pick a date v.easily, and altogether it is a brilliant bit of work! (well, a lot of work actually) I don't know if it passes all your hurdles, but it validates fine. Re: [WSG] CSS invisible to IE
On Wed, 29 Oct 2008 09:02:21 +0500, Fuji kusaka wrote: Is there any way to code css (not conditional inline css), so that the CSS apply online to FF? I'm confused. Your subject line refers to IE, yet your question only refers to FF.(?) If you wish to target Firefox only, it will very much depend on which version you intend to target. Since browsers are constantly improving (well, most anyway) it is counter-productive to give a browser its own CSS unless it is no longer maintained. If, as I suspect, you need to fix a problem in FF 2, feel free to put up an example page and ask us for a solution. I feel pretty sure we could come up with something.
