Hi there, Can anyone tell me what the current state of play is with the tags & XHTML? They seem to be the answer for a particular design I'm working on, and they don't appear to be marked for deprecation. Are there any compelling reasons not to use them? (Apart from them being empty tags). Tha

This may be slightly off subject, but will no doubt affect us all. "Now that Microsoft has shipped a new update of its Internet Explorer, multimedia content and the way it’s rendered on Web pages could be altered forever — and could affect the industry by disabling many flash advertisements."

Fluid Dynamics (http://www.xav.com/scripts/search/) do a very nice Open Source Perl based search engine script, which even has an automated install from their web site. They also have a very nice, basic, site tracking program called AXS, as well as a few other interesting scripts. Regards, N
