architecture that all browsers can be used would be my suggestion,
extensions could then be automatically downloaded much like new flash
versions.

Outline would be useful if you could specify the individual
top/right/bottom/left components of it.
Say you have a site and you want to separate sections with a 1px border
at the bottom of each, doing so using border is the obvious option but
this interferes with the baseline grid. If you
