I have also experienced this logging start time issue many times, at least back as far as v1.8, usually after an aborted/incomplete or abandoned QSO. I have no idea why the previously aborted QSO start time does not clear when the Esc. or F4 key is used to clear the QSO from the DX Call & DX Grid b
Hi Bill,
Of course. Why make it easy for the majority (90+ %) of users when you can
make it difficult (SARCASM OFF). But maybe you could write for example (WKD
B4) in brackets - if it's not too difficult. ;-) This would make it a lot
easier to understand for most users.

Hi Alla
Hi,
Perhaps it was an idea to change the text "CQ in message" to the perhaps more
correct "Worked before" as there appear to be some misunderstandings among some
users.

Hi Gary,
I totally agree with you. It was also my purpose, to keep my own communication
in the right window without seeing previous QSO partner's new calls. As you say

Neil, Bill,
In JTAlert there is a clear warning in the audio setup "*** DO NOT use the
same Sound Card as WSJT-X ***" in red color. And yes, there is always
someone who cannot figure it out. And it is probably the same people who
never read the instructions despite repeated requests and who ask th
David,
No problem! You have not accused me of sending out a voice. Thanks for your
audio file. Yes, it's quite annoying that somebody cannot figure it out. On the
other hand, it does not really bother anyone, as it is transmitted in "breaks"
between the desired signals. I usually do not listen
Hi Uwe,
Thanks. Nice to get some support here! J A version2.1 or later would be
just fine. I don't think it's a big job to make that. In the simplest
version: If Call=red colour then play file. And for the other one: If any

You have never heard me (and actually I have never heard others!). Of course
an alternative sound output should be used for that. It's in general always

Am I really the only one there would love to have notification / alarm

responses. Another sound for any call decoded is useful e.g. when monitoring

Bill,Sorry, I mispoke, I was typing what I thought I remembered in email client & not looking at File>Settings. What I seem to have broken is Settings>General "Disable TX after sending 73" is unchecked yet it always disables TX after RR73, and I had missed unchecking the box in Reporting tab.I know
Bill,As I think some others have been reporting, the unchecking of "Clear DX call and grid after logging" seems to be broken on my Windows version of rc5. Mine is unchecked, yet it continues to clear the DX call and grid, jump to TX6, and toggle TX Enable off whenever mine sends RR73. This has been

Hi all!My contest log showed the times as 12 hour AM/PM based on UTC time, so it neither matched the clock on my PC or WSJT-X. I had read the reports and realized that the actual log would be correct UTC times, so I ignored the contest log times.Overall it was a great RU contest, lots of new statio

Neil,
Well, that's exactly how I would like to have it, but it's not how it works
here. When moving from A to B - the arrow should point from A to B. My
arrows are apparently opposite (see attached photo). Set RX frequency to TX

Just a single confusing graphic detail that might be corrected: On the two
buttons for moving TX / RX to the same frequency, the arrows turn
illogically (remains from 1.9 and earlier). The arrows should turn opposite
so they point to what you do, i.e. that "Set RX frequency to TX frequency"

Hi all,First a disclaimer, I have no programming knowledge, or any clue to the solution. My setup is V2.0.0-rc4 on Windows 10 Pro, JTAlert feeding Log4OM & OmniRig for CAT control, SignaLink USB, TS-2000.I am also seeing issues with wrong QSO time logged, particularly after using F4 or Esc keys to

I also played the entire hour, only worked 7 stations. My recieved signal reports were mostly 539, 549 so maybe I could have bumped up the power to be heard better. I spent most of the hour calling CQ with 5 responses although plenty of stations decoding/scrolling in the band activity window. No mu
