That happens to me too when operating as Hound in F/H. If the DX station calls CQ, you can double-click the call. But if he is sending RR73 to someone then that is what you send if you double-click. I've gotten into a habit of entering the callsign manually and hitting "Generate Std Msgs" button.

1) I tried to call 5X3E, when I clicked on <5X3E> his call got changed to . If I clicked on 5X3E (no brackets), the QSO went as it should. 2) I called 5V7EI, he came back with a report, my acknowledgement frequency changed to 356 (his QRG), I got no response. My second reply changed my frequency
