Re: [wsjt-devel] Release Candidate WSJT-X 2.6.0-rc1
Fine job on the latest release candidate. I installed this morning and have been using it on HF and 6M. I really like the new buttons. This makes changing modes very quick and easy. I am running a quad core Win10 machine and there are no hiccups to report. Installation went smoothly and it is running well. 73, Rory, K5CKS ___ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel

Hi Uwe, I tried that but nothing there so a reboot was the only option. Thanks for your suggestion. 73 Tony, ZL3HAM On 21/06/2022 4:54 am, Uwe, DG2YCB wrote: Hi Tony, As you already mentioned, this can have several reasons. Re: [wsjt-devel] Release Candidate WSJT-X 2.6.0-rc1
Windows 10 Pro, Core I5. 50.275 Q65 seems normal here, but we are not using EME. Our morning q65 test group completed all qsos as normal with typical strengths. All have 5 EL or larger yagis (mostly LFA) Two stations at 800+ miles with 50w and 100w output on their end. (WB4HIE, NM3G). We have completed every morning since the RC1 release. KB7IJ, ND0B, N4DIX all run QRO, as do I at 700w out. It's early, but at this point, we can't tell any performance difference on 6m over our paths, with the new RC1 73, N0AN We all use Decode at Normal, Enable Averaging, Clear Avg after Decode. Re: [wsjt-devel] Release Candidate WSJT-X 2.6.0-rc1
Thanks Joe & team for the excellent program and update. I like the additional buttons, most useful. For some reason this evening WSJT-X just closed with the error message of " Fatal Error, Failed to Close then Fatal Error, Sub-Process Error" and the only way I could restart the program was to reboot the PC. Not sure if this is a problem on rc1 or something happening on the PC.
