Hi Dennis,
For info: using hamlib-4.6~git-20230629-25ad13ce with 2.7.0-rc1 on Mac with
Kenwood rig: no problems with rig control.

Hi,
I think this is a great idea. I use this method for compiling CQRLOG on
my Mint PC here. It will however usually require some tweaking to get it
to work. But I guess I will have to do that in order to get a way to to
easily compile WSJT-X in my environment.
BTW, I have started to look
The 7610/7600 will behave better (if it's the latest firmware) with the more
current version of Hamlib than Uwe said he was going to use.
Icom decided to add the 0x25 0x26 command but did it differently than all other
Icoms (actually they did it the "right" for the 76xx IMHO).

Thank you Gene!

Anyone around that can test the upcoming Hamlib dispersal with the RC2
software that's coming out in the near future? Instructions will be
provided to volunteers. Its simple, probably won't take you 30 minutes.

Daniel,
an alternative, presuming that you are running a Linux box (or WSL under
Windows) would be to establish a VM (virtual machine) under VirtualBox
(offers a nice GUI for that.)
If you're not familiar with building Docker images (that's me!), then
you will probably find VirtualBox much
Hi,
In order not to clutter my normal environment I would like to set up a
Docker container for building WSJT-X from source. Looking around I found
this Dockerfile:

It is however not updated in 5 years so I assume it
