Hello Rudy, Your settings for the FT-991 seem to be fine. I have the same settings here (and 028=RS232C), and everything works well. How is your PTT connected? I use CAT. If you have DTR or RTS selected, make sure the COM port for that is different from the CAT serial port. Is COM3 the right
