Please point me again to the hamlib files that supposedly fix this problem.
Using the same IC 9700 settings that are fine for 2.4.0 and trying to get 2.5.2
to work with it, I get this message even before hitting the Test CAT button:
Rig failure
Hamlib error: IO errorport_open: serial_open(COM
being used by any other applications. If using another OS I can't help
with method of checking com port existence.

2.5.3 stopped working so I downloaded 2.5.4. If I turn the main tuning dial on
the rig, WSJTX no longer follows the change in frequency on its display. It
closes instead and has to be restarted. Fix???

warnings about dropped audio samples into a wsjtx_syslog.log file. It is in the
log directory? You did not revealed at all which operating system you are using
nor your rig and how it is connected to your computer. Does the Test CAT passes

Tried 2.6.0-rc4 to see if it would fix a problem I have with 2.5.4 on a new
Windows 11 laptop. It didn’t. The problem is that WSJT-x is not processing
received audio signals from the IC 7300 on the new laptop. The waterfall shows
only ambient noise and there are no decodes. CAT anf PTT are fine

To me, it sounds like you have the wrong input selected on the audio tab in
WSJT-X. Make a note of what it is set to now and then try the other options in
that drop down field.

I recently migrated v2.5.4 to a new W11 laptop. It now has a half second delay
between the time the rig is keyed and the time that transmission begins. The
delay was never that long on the old laptop.
Reducing WSJT-x’s transmit delay to zero has not reduced the delay. No
settings on the rig (an
