Reino, I'm running a Windows 10 laptop and an ICOM IC 9700 interconnected via the lower numbered Silabs port on the 9700 using a USB cable with chokes. Attached is the portion of the syslog that I believe covers the 2.5.4 installation. Ray

the actual reason is already there? Has wssjt-x written something more than
warnings about dropped audio samples into a wsjtx_syslog.log file. It is in the
log directory? You did not revealed at all which operating system you are using
nor your rig and how it is connected to your computer. Does the Test CAT passes

2.5.4. If I turn the main tuning dial on the rig, WSJTX no longer follows the
change in frequency on its display. It closes instead and has to be restarted.
