I do NOT have a general problem with the modified frequency settings - each method has its merrits!
For me it was easier before, may be due to habitude. (when I was younger I adapted faster hi)

I can only speak to the frequency list issue. These release candidates
are advanced BETA programs, they are not final. Once the program goes
to general release, you would not have to worry about resetting the
frequency list.
