I just would like to add a piece of information:
alt + tab, which normally allows to switch from one window to another,
doesn't work either.
Thanks and best regards.

Hello Stefan.
Thank you for your quick answer and for the explanations concerning Alt

As for the OpenBox specific question, I would indeed be interested in
someone else's solution...
Best regards,

Hello,
I am using Debian Jessie + Openbox.
When logged into the machine itself (not via X2Go), I usually hit the
keyboard keys Meta + t to start a new XTerm.
To be able to do this, I added the following keybind into the OpenBox
configuration file "/etc/xdg/openbox/rc.xml":

Doesn't sound like an X2GoClient issue to me. Probably $SOMETHING is
different between how the stripped down Debian Linux used for the TCE
environment sets

Hello!
I can not get to install the TCE on Ubuntu 14.04, as described on
http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:advanced:tce:install?s[]=pxe. There is a
problem with a symbolic link, I think.
It would be great if someone can help me.
Bye,
Olaf
