Dear all,
I tried to set up desktop sharing as described here:
https://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/doc:usage:desktop-sharing
all locally in the same LAN segment, so forwarding of port 22 shouldn’t be an

Hello all,
I am working with a fresh X2Go install based on Debian 9.
I recently discovered that the MATE screensaver is not activated when connected
through X2Go.
When I connect to the server locally, it works fine.

Please run
cat /proc/cmdline
on the ThinClient, and post the result.
Here we go:
BOOT_IMAGE=x2g0-tce/vmlinuz initrd=x2g0-tce/initrd.img boot=live
components noswap aufs rd.luks=0 rd.lvm=0 rd.md=0 rd.dm=0 kernel.sysrq=1
keep_bootcon sysrq_always_enabled rd.driver.pre=loop rd.noverifyssl

sessionsurl parameter...
Sorry for that.
I will fix that and test again.
Kind regards, Jens

I did a fresh install of Debian 9 in a VM. I installed X2Go as stated here:
https://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/doc:installation:x2goserver
Then I tried to install the thin client environment as explained here:
https://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:advanced:tce:install
I did not
as described.
The X2Go client of the thin client does not fetch it. I don’t see any errors in
log files, and according to the http server log, the thin client doesn’t even
try to fetch something.
Any hints?
Kind regards,
Jens
