Thanks to everyone for the tips. I had saved my old maps directory from the
Ubuntu install. I copied the OSM maps from my build directory and I can get
OSM_tiled_cycle.geo and OSM_tiled_mapnik.geo to both work. None of the
cloudmade maps seem to work, which is what I was using previously.

I replaced it with v2.0.7 that I built out of CVS following the directions on

Did you keep your maps directory from the previous install? If so then you may
still have a lot of discontinued online files in them. The CVS was updated to
not create them on new installations but it didn't have any logic to remove the
files if they already existed.

Hi all
due to problems with my ham machine i did a reinstall with Ubuntu 12.10
Beta 2..
it is a Acer X3400 1tb h/d and a 24 tv using HDMI,4GB DDR3 Ram
the previous install was Ubuntu 12.04 and ran Xastir 100%
i did a back up of my Home dir and put this back on 12.10
as i had the main Xastir

PDT)- the file to select is 'OpenStreetMaps.osm'. The extension was
changed from .geo to .osm with the last patch.
