I've noticed some problems with the wind calculation too. I'll try to
create some NMEA logs so that we can analyse the issue.

No, this algorithm calculates the ground speed difference between two
opposite positions on the circle. That is much more accurate than the
horizontal drift.

I will advice setting NMEA logging ON for everybody in our club..

Without the NMEA file, nobody can analyse the problem or give an

Two flight, first one with XCSoar 6.3.4, second one with updated to 6.4
Without FLARM / LX160 connections wind estimation has been quite good for
