The build-other.xml file contains instructions on building on AS400.
Can you try doing a build on AS400 and let me know how it goes? Thanks.

Hi David,
I reported a problem with building Xerces on the iSeries (AS/400) platform a
few weeks ago. The configuration scripts were reporting a problem with the
machine type. Do you know if this build problem was resolved in Xerces 2.6?
I've not seen any update on it.
Thanks,
Patrick

Cristina,
I've
replied separately, but I will reply here for the list. I believe that IBM has
withdrawn the program products you mention. To my knowledge they are not
available as PRPQ either. I believe that IBM makes the Xerces library available
via a paid licensed program. You might expl

Alternatively, modify configure by adding:

before the lines..
*-*-os400*) platform=OS400 ;;
*-*-OS400*) platform=OS400 ;;
Let me know how this works...

Hi David,
I would like to build this on the AS/400 (iSeries), too. Can you tell me the
settings for AS/400? I've loaded gmake so I think I just need the exports.
Thanks,
Patrick

Hello,
I am having a
problem building the Xerces C++ 2.5.0 application on the IBM AS/400 (V5R2). I've
installed the gmake utility, and that installation was successful (no errors).
I've set the environment variables for runConfigure as
follows:
