Which version of "exo" do you have ? What is the output of ".config/xfce4/helpers.rc" What is run wtih "exo-open --launch MailReader" Does it work with xdg-open ran...@email.com ? I have thunderbird, which is desired. Since recently email links pop up as evolution, which is not desired. Settings -> Settings Manager -> Preferred Applications does absolutely nothing.
