I have the same problem (?) here .. But for my point of view, this is not really a problem as 99,99% of the = bad emails syntaxes was really bad syntax errors in the mail address ... The real question is : What Smtp RFC's say about email addresses syntax check and to define if xmail or exchange (or the two ?) are in error = (or none if not explicitly mandatory or regulated in RFC's ...) ... I did not find yet the 'good' rfc about this problem ... Perhaps Exchange puts in more tests. I had no complaints yet, though. The real question is : What Smtp RFC's say about email=20 addresses syntax check and to define if xmail or exchange (or the two ?) are in error = =3D (or none if not explicitly mandatory or regulated in RFC's ...) ... =20 I did not find yet the 'good' rfc about this problem ... me neither. RFC 822 says something like address =3D word*(. word) but = that's for messages.
