reasonable stack to typeset xml. Jade would produce reasonable output
were it usable. Fop is also unreliable and produces /horrid/ ouput.
Plus, make install re-gens all of the docs. The dependencies are wrong.

that current coreutils uses a separate binary, though.
IOW, even if the shell doesn't support it, there ought to be an [
executable in $PATH.

Using git revert to remove dolt would be better than just applying a
patch.

On a related note, we should make xprop(1) report UTF8_STRING props
using code similar to what you added here, falling back to the current
output when conversion to the locale cannot work.

of one for all. Installing the separate pkgconfig scripts is OK for now,
but the autofoo should be merged before the first tar release, I think.
Eventually, it would be better to have a single pc, too. But that can
wait at least until the server's 1.9 release.
