I did use 'something else' to install to an empty partition alongside Xubuntu
16.04 Win 10 (work software needs it) - would that make a difference?

I have been running 17.10 for about two weeks and decided to run 18 04 to
test to see if some of my annoyances were fixed. One thing that hasn't
been fixed is that when you are trying to attach bluetooth devices you only
get the GUID of the device and not the name of the device. In my case I

So far 18.04 has been pretty flaky. Many settings don't seem to take until
you log out and log back in. The touchpad sometimes ignores taps and scroll
motions too.
BTW I think Xubuntu should remap the Super-R to whisker menu instead of
application finder. The application finder is ugly and
