With the release of os-brick 1.6.0 the following review[1] was created
to use it in upper-constraints.txt
This review is failing the nova[2] and cinder[3] unit tests
It's relatively simple to fix these problems to work with 1.6.0 but the
code needs to work with both 1.5.0

The tempest side patch was abandoned and Neutron team seems to get a
consensus to fix this problem on Neutron side. So I'd like to mark this

Now that we have rolling upgrades in place, we should have a unit test
in place to ensure that developers (and reviewers) do not land
additional patches to the legacy migration repository and expect
everything to continue working, as that would be akin to rewriting our

Hi,
The steps to reproduce this problem,
1. Create a project using below command,
openstack create project DemoProject1
2. Create user for the above project using below command
openstack user create --project DemoProject1 DemoUser1
3. show user, and verify the project_id
Closing the Keystone server component again, as I just confirmed the
user-list error does not happen in this code base, and thus it is a new
bug and a regression. Will open a separate ticket for that.

Reopening the issue against the Keystone server. The fix was not
sufficient, as it was just a workaround, and one that we can't apply via
the CLI.
The real fix requires avoiding the exception from the identity backend
when performing any assignment-backend calls.
