Has anyone ever made a Pope Frank t-shirt? If he'd lived another twenty years
FZ probably would have been amused. Not as amused as he would be about the
pedophile priests. :P

Strange I didn't get this email. The Barfies are pretty good at keeping me
up-to-date;. Hmm. Could they have known in advance how lazy (& thus unlikely to
go along with this one shot deal) I am? :P

The list is so dead lately I thought I'd see if any of you has heard any news
about upcoming ZFT releases? I want to live to see the Roxy DVD but the body
weakens & the eyesight fails.

I have to agree. When we went to a Stevie Nicks concert many moons ago he was
singing duets with her. He held his own.

"Yo Mama" definitely, if it has to be the only one, of course with the Sheik
Yerbouti solos.

"Feeding the Monkeys at Ma Maison" is out & I like it thus far. I find it
closer to Civilization Phase III than to the less polished Jazz from Hell. My
theory on the title is that "Ma Maison" refers to the home & the monkeys to the
kids Gail still has to think about. Go ahead, buy one & give the

During Titties & Beer FZ goes "Up jumped the devil just about this big." Does
he ever gesture how big the devil that ate up Chrissy was? With a hand or both
hands? Any video evidence or anecdotal evidence anyone would like to share from
their concert experiences? I saw Frank twice in one night
Neil Young is awesome!

I have a question to ask that I've been meaning to ask & it should be
answerable only by the most hardcore of FZ fans. In The Real Frank Zappa Book
(or was it Pamela Des Barres' I'm With the Band) Motorhead is described reading
a book on how to develop underused muscles. IOW, a book on how to d
I recently purchased a CD on Amazon entitled "Frank Zappa's Jukebox: The Music
that Inspired the Man" & I like it. I was unimpressed by Ionisation, having
heard so much about it, my hopes may have? been up. It's nice to hear the
original "No, No Cherry" & "The Closer You Are" (but no "Valerie"?
Whatever his necrodestination I'm sure Frank, like Socrates, is still giving
them hell.

You read it here ladies & gents - Gail admits there are special editions of
Lumpy Money coming out subsequently - that she didn't want to "confuse" the
fans by mentioning it now.

Yeah, I thought they skipped one, which you'd hardly expect given the ZFT
penchant for squeezing every cent out of us by issuing two versions of every
release each with exclusive material. Just imagine the marketing potential of
two different Lather 40th anniversary boxes!
