[zathura] cannot open shared object file

Building zathura and zathura-pdf-poppler worked flawlessly. Nevertheless zathura fails to open any pdf file. Error message: error: could not load plugin /usr/lib/zathura/pdf.so (/usr/lib/zathura/pdf.so: Cannot open Shared-Object-File: Permission denied) As root I can open any .pdf henry

[zathura] zathura does not render background

Hi, I realize a strange behaviour when opening this file[1] with zathura. I takes about 15 sec. to load it in the first place, finally the background is not displayed. This happens with 0.1.2.2 from the debian repository and with zathura built from git as well. Using the mupdf plugin makes it wor
