I agree with Seif here, while we need the monitor for the time being, the ultimate goal is apps (or other passive loggers) telling us what happened. Its a gut thing :P But no seriously ppl with Firefox or those who use Gtk.SaveFileDialog will end up getting 2 events if something is downloaded into the Downloads directory...
