Okay! Cool! .Bill!

I think I corrected this in an earlier post ('slug' instead od "bullet") to
conform to the .357 'magnu,' form. But it's all a work in progress...

Yes, now these work fine...in fact, they make me smile..
Which is a bit of an unexpected result given the basic subject matter..
but that being accomplished just so...that is exactly the spirit of a fine
Haiku
that unexpected inversion, the familiar turned alien, the life to death or
vice-versa
arrangments that remind us to think around corners for the unexpected and
new.

Very Zen indeed!

Thanks,

Thanks Robert! Of course, I should have used 'slug' not "bullet" to conform to
the 'ghetto' .357 haiku format so thanks for making me aware. :)

Interesting, but not, repeat, not Haiku. Haiku is 5, 7, 5 not 5, 5, 7
or other variations thereof.

Tanka is 5, 7, 5, 7, 7... btw.

Here is a Haiku:

Please join me for tea,
Sweet is the nightengale song
Glock locked, loaded.

or:

Tea n' trajectory,
The silver moon rises fast
My Glock is more swift.

or:

Would you like a scone
With your warm cup of Earl Grey
Before "make my day?"

Finally:

I have news for you
Scones n' tea fail to welcome
When served with Glock.

Happy Holidays,

Zenbob

[Zen] Zen Haiku of the old days

2007-12-23 Thread Al
The Zen Haiku that never made it into the pop-culture books. Keep in mind
that there are literally hundreds of thousands of those zen haiku that have
never seen the light of day. The scholars have passed them by. Here are a
few possible examples.

5-7-5 meter

Scratched my nut sack
Walked into the forrest
Don't smell my finger

Dog was barking loud
Hunger howls in my belly
Dog good with sake
