Besides the one you mention, bug 6560174 also shows the problems I've
seen with ZFS on firewire. (This bug also shows the blank status page.)
Is there any way to know if these will be addressed?

I was unable to use zfs (that is zpool create or mkfs -F ufs) on
firewire devices, because scsa1394 would hang the system as
soon as multiple concurrent write commands are
