All,
Just checked in a quick hack to view pages in a separate window. Doesn't do
much yet, just read-only view, links will open in the main window. However
you will now be ale to use the context menu on the side pane to open a page
in a second window without changing the page you are working on.

Other bugs:
1) No tray icon
2) I seem to have set a default notebook, and now Zim opens directly
to that notebook and I cannot access my other notebooks!
3) I cannot set the [x] marker with the mouse by middle clicking (was
this possible in 0.28?)
4) Some of the options seem to not work, such as
1) No tray icon
Nevermind, I see that the Tray Icon plugin must be enabled. Sorry.

Now that I have a tray icon, this is solved, too.
However, it seems that the pathbar option must be set for each
notebook individually. Is this right?

It does, sorry, I looked for something like that but this one eluded
me. I should get some sleep!

hello,
I tried version 164 and found a little bug:
After opening a page in a separate window, the formatting menu and
shortcuts are disabled.
The only way to reactivate them, is a restart of pyzim.

It seems to me that a left click on the tray icon should bring up a
list of all the available notebooks, as opposed to a right click. Left
click usually means open or activate whereas right click is a
change of state (closing, minimizing).
