The tray icon plugin does not seem to work at all on standard
installations of Ubuntu 14.04 and has already been reported
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/zim/+bug/1299917). There is a duplicate bug
report (https://bugs.launchpad.net/zim/+bug/1314572) that describes a
procedure to allow plugin behav
