[Zim-wiki] Zim 0.70 released

2019-04-03 Thread nik

Hello list!

Jaap and other contributors - THANK YOU very much for new release of
this great application
I have two issues with new release:

1. There is no support for Russian locale:

ERROR: Could not set locale settings
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/python3.7/site-packages/zim/__init__.py", line 135,
in
    locale.setlocale(locale.LC_ALL, '')
File "/usr/lib/python3.7/locale.py", line 604, in setlocale
    return _setlocale(category, locale)
locale.Error: unsupported locale setting

2. When I try to insert file, zim copies file into the directory,
but link to it is not created in the page.

Wonder if someone else have similar issues?

Re: [Zim-wiki] Zim alternatives?

2018-12-18 Thread Nik
Hello list!
Before zim, I used keepnote, but its development stoped some years ago.
For me zim is perfect!

Re: [Zim-wiki] ZIm and email integration

I'm using thundebird 60+ on Linux machine. Thunderlink is not
supported by 60+ thunderbird.

  Hello,

according to

there's a 'thunderlink' addon to Thunderbird which produces direct links
to messages. I've just installed it: wonderful!

Greetings

[Zim-wiki] linked to special header in page

2014-11-27 Thread nik

Hello list!

I have a small question about making links in zim.
For example I have a page with complex structure:

Header 1.1
some text

Header 2.1
some text

Header 1.2
some text

and so on.

Can I create a link on another page of the notebook which will point me
not to the page itself but to the special header. For example Header 1.2?

Re: [Zim-wiki] Problem with print to browser

2014-04-11 Thread nik

Thank you, Jaap.

I solved the problem by removing associated file for wine webbrowser in
~/.local/share/mime/application directory.

05.04.2014 15:57, Jaap Karssenberg ?:
Zim calls the python webbrowser module to open the file. This module
looks at your environment to determine your default browser. So you
indeed need to change the settings for this user. See
https://docs.python.org/2/library/webbrowser.html .

Now I can't tell you how / where your system configured the browser,
there are many variants.

The sure way to overrule is to make sure the $BROWSER environment
variable is set, that should overrule other options.

Regards,

Jaap

Hello list!

Where does zim takes config information for plugin Print to browser?

I have a problem now, when I use Ctrl+P it tries to open
winebrowser which was installed on my computer, but for now i
removed that package.

Debug log is:

DEBUG: Action: print_to_browser
INFO: Loading template from: UnixFile:
/usr/share/zim/templates/html/Print.html
DEBUG: Wrote UnixFile: /home/test/Notebooks/Notes/Home.txt
DEBUG: Wrote TmpFile: /tmp/zim-test/print-to-browser.html
DEBUG: open_url(file:///tmp/zim-test/print-to-browser.html)
INFO: Opening in webbrowser:
file:///tmp/zim-test/print-to-browser.html
env: wine: No such file or directory

I've created another test user on my system and under it Print to
browser works fine. So I think that it is configuration problem
in my current user environment.

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advanced.

[Zim-wiki] Tags on different langiuages in todo plugin

2013-11-25 Thread Nik
Hello List!
I have a little problem with tags on russian languge. Maybe you can help me
in it

I am trying to sort my tasks with different tag on native language, in this
example - Russian, but it simply not working.

Here what I'm doing:

I create a new page with task label TODO and tag in native language. For
example:

TODO: @работа go to work [d: 26/11]

In the task list I can see this task under TODO tag and also I can see,
that there one page under tag работа.
When I select TODO tag I can see, the content of the task, but when I
select работа tag - there is no task there.

On the opposite side, when I label my tasks with tags in english -
everything works fine.

So is this a bug, or I'm doing something wrong?

Thank you in advanced!

[Zim-wiki] moving files to note folder

2013-08-17 Thread Nik
Hello zim community!

First of all, thankyou for the great app!

I have a littlle question about how to move attachment files to the
notebook folder.

I'm often using GUI interface - Instruments - Insert File.
When adding some external file to the notebook it copies it to the notebook
folder. Is there any possibility not to copy file, but to move it to the
notebook folder?

Sorry for bad english, I/m not a native speaker, but I think you get idea
of what i want :)
