It doesn't work for me either.
Kubuntu 15.04, Zim 0.65 from the official PPA.
I really don't use that key combo that much, so I don't know exactly when
it stopped working, but I can confirm that it works as expected in Zim 0.62
(just tested it in an old laptop that still has that version).

I've noticed that CTRL-Home is going to start-of-line rather than
top-of-file in Zim 0.65. I know 0.64 had CTRL binding problems but I've
not heard of this one. Is is something on my side? Can't think of
what, and I don't recall changing anything relevant, but...
